"If Liberty upsets Stony Brook, we will be ready for that last week and we will be ready to go for the playoffs," Coastal Carolina head football coach Joe Moglia said at his weekly news conference. On CCU's chances of going to the post season, Moglia said, "I don't expect that to happen."

Here is the scenerio for CCU to make the playoffs. Coastal Carolina must beat Presbyterian this Saturday, November 10, and Charleston Southern the following week. Liberty has to win their final two games. That would create a three-way tie for the Big South Conference Championship. If that happens, Coastal would win the tie-breaker and an automatic post season berth.

The Presbyterian Blue Hose are bottom dwellers in the Big South. They have no conference wins and sport a dismal 2-7 record this season. Coastal leads the lifetime head-to-head meetings between the schools 4-1. CCU has won the last four.

Coach Moglia says starting quarterback Aramis Hillary will return to the lineup after missing last week's game against Gardner-Webb with a neck injury.

Without Hillary last week, Freshman QB Alex Ross guided the Chanticleers to a 55-33 victory at Gardner-Webb. Ross set a Big South Conference freshman record by rolling up 404 yards of total offense, including 342 through the air.

Coastal now has an overall record of 5-4. They have won three out of four Big South Conference games, and are riding a three game win streak.

Kickoff for the Coastal Carolina at Presbyterian game is set for 1 p.m. at Bailey Memorial Stadium in Clinton, South Carolina.
