The Big South held its basketball media day in Charlotte. Coastal Carolina has been selected to finish second in the Big South's new Southern Division. This year's Big South is split into two divisions. Charleston Southern is the favorite in the South Division while Campbell is the favorite in the North Division. CCU guard Anthony Raffa was selected to the Big South's preseason first team All-Big South while fellow guard Kierre Greenwood was a second team selection. The Chanticleers hold their first practice this Friday and open the new HTC Center on November 9th against Akron.
