2003 WPDE Zoneman winner Lawrence Timmons, who attended Wilson High in Florence, South Carolina, led the Pittsburgh Steelers with nine tackles in a 16-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, in NFL action on Sunday. Timmons also forced Eagles QB Michael Vick to fumble, resulting in a turnover.

Ex-Lamar High player John Abraham of the Atlanta Falcons had one QB hit and one pass defended for the Atlanta Falcons in a 24-17 win over the Washington Redskins.

Former Carvers Bay High star Robert Geathers, Jr. made one tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals in a 17-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Rookie Josh Norman out of Coastal Carolina made four tackles for the Carolina Panthers in a 16-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Fellow Panther and ex-CCU fullback Mike Tolbert had one carry for three yards.

Former Coastal Carolina WR Jerome Simpson played for the Minnesota Vikings, but was held without a catch, in a 30-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.
