Hartsville point guard Jaylen Shaw tells WPDE Sports that he's excited to be a part of the High Point family.  The 2012 WPDE All-Hoop Zone selection committed to play for the Panthers on Monday.  Shaw averaged 19 points and 6.5 assists a game to help Hartsville win its first ever boys state championship.  Shaw scored 14 points in the state title game victory over Southside in Columbia last March.

Shaw is considered one of the top point guard prospects in South Carolina and a contender for 2013 WPDE Mr. Hoop Zone Trophy.  Shaw chose to play for the Big South school over offers and interest from Evansville, Furman, Wichita State, Radford and Winthrop.
