Hemingway Tigers

2011 Record: 13-1

Offense: 31.92 pgg (4th in Zone Nation)

Defense: 5.85 ppg (2nd in Zone Nation)

Returning Starters: Offense 2  Defense 2

Hags Thoughts

It is time to rebuild at Hemingway. Only two starters return on offense and defense. Players at the skill positions will need to fill some gargantuan holes left by the departure of All-Zoners Lamichael Pushia and Jabril Solomon. Two-way star DeQuaun Casey will be the linchpin on a youthful squad. Hemingway field boss Ken Cribb says his Tigers are young but hungry to compete in the realigned Region 7-1A alonside Timmonsville and Carvers Bay.

Rich's Thoughts

136-39.  How's that for a 12 year record?  That's how long I've been here and I've always known that Hemingway is a tremendous football program.  It was great to see the Tigers reach the state title game for the first time ever and I hope they can take the next step one day soon.  I don't know about 13-1, but I don't see the Tigers falling too much.
