Rory McIlroy and Vijay Singh are tied for the lead at the PGA Championship. Both golfers are at 6-under par. Play was stopped for the day when thunderstorms roared through The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island in South Carolina.

McIlroy completed only nine holes of the third round. Singh finished seven holes. Adam Scott is just one shot behind the leaders. Play will resume at 7:45 am on Sunday.

Tiger Woods got off to a poor start, shooting 3-over par through seven holes. He stands 1-under for the tournament, five strokes behind the leaders.

Former Coastal Carolina All-American Dustin Johnson completed his round. He shot even par 72 and is tied for 55th place at 6-over for the tournament.
