Myrtle Beach resident Amber Campbell has arrived in London, England. She will compete in the women's Olympic Hammer Throw event which begins on Wednesday, August 8.

Campbell, a 2004 Coastal Carolina grad, is a 16-time Big South Conference Champion. She is a six-time USA Indoor Champ and won the USA Outdoor in 2010.

Campbell won the US Olympic Trials with a throw of 235' 6". She is filing daily video reports from London for WPDE NewsChannel 15. You can watch them every day until the closing ceremonies either on TV or here on carolinalive.com.
