Hags Thoughts
Darlington always has talent. Trayvon Thomas is perhaps the most unsung running back in the area despite running for 1,117 yards his freshman season. This year he'll have more offensive help. With seven starters back on offense and six returning on defense, the Falcons should be much better than last year's 2-8 campaign.
Rich's Thoughts
Watching film on Trayvon Thomas is making me guilty that he didn't make the All-Zone team. To do that as a freshman is off the charts. My guess is he'll be joining us at the Zone banquet for the next three years. Coach Will Lampkin always has a great optimistic outlook and I would imagine that feeling is contagious if you're around him on a regular basis. For that alone, I have to think the Falcons will get better sooner rather than later.
