Hags Thoughts

The Bulldogs are coming off another solid season. After an 8-4 finish in 2011, Marlboro County returns 17 of 22 starters. This will be a team that relies on speed. No player on the roster weighs more than 280 pounds. Jaquain Cole will be a key two-way player for the Dawgs. New starting quarterback Xavier Adams will have to develop quickly for an otherwise talented offense that boasts RB Reggie Bright in addition to WR's Jamal Stanton and Fred David.

Rich's Thoughts

You've got to give it up to Dean Boyd.  That is one tough schedule the Bulldogs have, which is a tradition.  Conway, Dillon, Hartsville just to name a few.  As usual, it will pay off come region time.  I'm shocked to see Marlboro County's Black D giving up that many points (27.5).  For the better part of a decade, that unit would be a top 5 defense in the area.  I think you'll see big improvement on that side of the ball.
