The 9th ranked South Carolina Gamecocks defeated the Auburn Tigers 12-5 before a crowd of 2,949 at Plainsman Park in Auburn, Alabama on Friday night. Connor Bright accounted for five of the Gamecocks runs. He drove in three and scored two. Former St. James star Tanner English went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. South Carolina pitcher Michael Roth struck out eight and ran his record to 4-0. The Gamecocks overall record is now 28-11, 9-7 in the SEC.

The Clemson Tigers beat the Maryland Terrapins 5-4 in front of 878 fans at Bob Smith Stadium in College Park, Maryland. Richie Shaffer ripped a two-out, two-run triple in the ninth inning to give Clemson a two run lead. The Tigers held on to improve their overall record to 22-17, 10-9 in the ACC.

The High Point Panthers scored three runs in the top of the 12th inning at Watson Stadium in Conway, South Carolina to beat the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers 8-5. CCU committed six errors in the loss. The Chants drop to 24-13 overall, 7-3 in Big South Conference play.
