Former Georgetown High basketball star Kinard Gadsden-Gilliard will sign with East Tennessee State University on Wednesday. The 6'6" forward played for two seasons at Roane State Community College in Harriman, Tennessee. He was recently named conference MVP after scoring 14 points and pulling down seven rebounds a game at Roane State. Gadsden-Gilliard, who won WPDE's 2008 Mister Hoop Zone award, has two seasons of eligibility remaining at East Tennessee State.

Dillon senior point guard Chelsea Frazier will sign a college letter of intent on Wednesday to play at Erskine College. Frazier averaged 28.9 points a game her senior season with the Lady Wildcats. She also had four steals and six assists per game. Frazier is an honor student and a four-time WPDE All-Hoop Zone selection.
