Josh Norman was on the NFL radar prior to last week, but thanks to a stellar performance in practices at the East-West Shrine Game, Norman has seen his NFL stock on the rise. The All-American defensive back made an interception on the first play of his first practice and immediately caught the eye of NFL scouts and GM's throughout the week. Norman said he had contact with numerous NFL teams throughout the week.

Coastal Carolina CB Josh Norman is one of the under-the-radar players boosting his stock at this year's East-West Shrine Game. Norman continued his strong showing on Wednesday.
Norman has a good frame (6-foot-0 3/8, 203 pounds) and is fluid for his size, and he picked off a pair of passes this morning. He has good strength as well, and scouts here are buzzing about his potential. After finishing the season looking liek a free-agent prospect, Norman could very well be in the mid-rounds conversation by the time draft weekend rolls around.

Norman is getting ready for the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis in February. Following that, he'll have individual workouts for NFL teams at Coastal Carolina, Greenwood High School and trips to NFL cities. He also is scheduled to take part in Coastal Carolina's Pro Day in March.
