Milton wins 2011 Beach Ball Classic
Milton (GA) has won the Beach Ball Classic with an impressive 70-42 win over Lone Peak (UT). Evan Nolte was voted tournament MVP leading Milton with 20 points in the title game.
Nick Emery led Lone Peak with 21 points. He broke the four-game Beach Ball tournament record scoring 119 points.
Lexington sends Myrtle Beach home winless at Beach Ball Classic
The Lexington Wildcats defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks 86-56 on the final day of the Beach Ball Classic at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Saturday.
Lexington was led by Sam McDermott with 15 points. He was one of five Wildcats in double-figures. Lexington improved to 8-4 on the season after winning this consolation bracket game.
Myrtle Beach was led by Solomon Cooper's game-high 21 points. The Seahawks fall to 6-6 on the year.
