Dillon's Smith gets All-American invite

  Dillon wide receiver Kwinton Smith has been selected to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.  The Gamecocks commitment will play in the national showcase on December 31st at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.  Smith had 32 catches for 553 yards and 10 TD's in his senior season.  Smith is one of four finalists for WPDE's Zoneman Trophy, which will be announced on December 8th.   

  The Offense-Defense All-American Bowl was previously held in Myrtle Beach in 2009 and 2010 at Doug Shaw Stadium.  The Offense-Defense headquarters remain on the Grand Strand, but the venue was switched to Texas.  Past alumni from the game include Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton, Cowboys WR Dez Bryant and Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap.
