Former WPDE All-Zone football selection Richard Cue out of Wilson High ran for two touchdowns to lead South Carolina State to a 23-13 win over Georgia State on Saturday at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Cue completed 16 of 30 passes for 213 yards and ran for 56 more. The redshirt sophomore scored on a 4-yard TD run and later on a 1-yard score.

Another WPDE All-Zoner, Donovan Richard out of Carvers Bay High, made 10 tackles along with two interceptions for the Bulldogs.

SC State improved to 4-3 overall, 3-1 in the MEAC. The Bulldogs will host the Florida A&M Rattlers next Saturday, October 22 in Orangeburg. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
