Coastal Carolina tight end and backup quarterback Jamie Childers has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Liberty Flames.  Childers suffered the injury in the first quarter of CCU's 34-10 win over VMI.  On Sunday's David Bennett Show, the Chants head coach ruled the redshirt senior out for this Saturday.  It's not known at this time how many weeks Childers will miss as a result of the injury.  CCU's other starting tight end, David Duran, did not play in the VMI win due to an undisclosed shoulder injury.  His status for Liberty is unknown at this time.  Cody Craig will move up to the number two quarterback slot.  He played the majority of the second half on Saturday night against the Keydets.

CCU is now 4-1 after the VMI victory and are up to #20 in the latest FCS Coaches Poll.
