The North Carolina Lady Tar Heels are coming back to the Grand Strand and will play a pair of games in Myrtle Beach as part of their 2011-12 schedule. Sylvia Hatchell's team will face the University of South Carolina and East Carolina on December 18th and December 20th. Last season, the Lady Tar Heels scored a 75-51 victory over the Lady Gamecocks at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.
The Crescent Bank Holiday Invitational runs from December 17th through the 22nd. Three local teams will compete against some of the nation's top prep teams: Myrtle Beach, Socastee and Saint James
