Hags Thoughts
Everett Golson and Mitch Campbell are gone. What are the Seahawks going to do? Relax. It won't be the same old 46 points a game offense they enjoyed in 2010. This year's edition of Myrtle Beach football will rely heavily on defense. Will the Seahawks repeat as Class 3A champions? Depends on how far the offense can take them.
Rich's Thoughts
Notre Dame had a coaches clinic in late March. Over 1,000 football coaches were on hand and the speaker list was impressive: Oregon's Chip Kelly, Notre Dame's Brian Kelly, Urban Meyer, the Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator and two high school coaches. One of those two coaches was Mickey Wilson. When you watch the Myrtle Beach offense, you'll see why Wilson is among the elite when it comes to x's and o's. It will be interesting to see the quarterback battle play out and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Seahawks go with 2 QB's early on.
