Former Myrtle Beach Seahawks lineman and NFL star Brandon Frye was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence at 3:47 a.m. on Saturday. He was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and later released.
The 28-year old Frye was an all-star high school football player with the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The 305 pound offensive tackle later went on to start at Virginia Tech. In 2007, Frye was drafted in the fifth round by the NFL's Houston Texans. He also had stints with the Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks.
