Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey from Bishopville, South Carolina shot a final round 3-under par 69 at the Zurich Classic in Avondale, Louisiana on Sunday. Gainey ended the tournament 13-under and tied for third. He has never won a PGA event but has come close with top five finishes in the past two weeks. Gainey also placed third at The Heritage last week, missing a playoff by one stroke. Gainey won $332,800 this week.

Gainey is now 30th on the PGA money list. He's banked $917,697 this season despite missing the cut in the first three events. He is also 30th in Fed-Ex Cup points, ranks 6th on tour in birdies made this year, and 19th in driving distance, averaging nearly 295 yards off the tee.

Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson finished 15-under par forcing a playoff. Watson won the Zurich Classic on the second hole of sudden death with a birdie putt. Watson has won two times on tour this season. He picked up a check for $1,152,000. Simpson is still winless on tour.
