Mullins comes up short against Keenan in boys 2A Championship

The Keenan Raiders (26-3) defeated the Mullins Auctioneers 56-50 in the Boys Class 2A State Basketball Championship in Columbia on Saturday. Quinton Johnson tallied 18 points to lead Keenan to a second straight state title.

Mullins had a brief lead but Keenan went on a 19-4 second half run and never trailed after that. Mullins finished the season with a 25-4 record. WPDE All-Hoop Zone selections Bobby Crawford and Darnell Coleman each scored 13.
