All-Region football star Michael Fitzpatrick has signed a national letter of intent to play at Methodist College in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fitzpatrick was a two-way starter for head coach Tim Renfrow at Socastee High over a career that spanned four varsity seasons.
The 165 pound Fitzpatrick played defensive back, wide receiver and on special teams at Socastee. Fitzpatrick is a straight-A student who says he will try out for the quarterback position for the Methodist College Monarchs next fall.
