Georgia's Trey Thompkins outscored the entire South Caroina Gamecocks team over the first 10 minutes and finished with 20 points, on the way to a 64-48 blowout win in men's college basketball on Saturday in Athens, Georgia.

South Carolina (14-13, 5-9) was led by Malik Cooke who was held to just 11 points. The Gamecocks were plagued by cold shooting, hitting just 28 percent from the field and an embarrassing 1 for 19 from three point range. Wilson High product Sam Muldrow scored 10 points and pulled down 7 rebounds in a losing effort against the Bulldogs.

South Carolina hosts Tennessee for Senior Night on Thursday at 7 p.m.  It will be the final home game for Gamecocks seniors Sam Muldrow and Johndre Jefferson.
