The South Carolina Gamecocks scored only nine points in the first half against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. USC rallied from 23 points down to close the gap to one in the final minutes. But Georgia pulled out a 60-56 victory in Columbia.

Despite the loss, Gamecocks center Sam Muldrow became South Carolina's all-time leader in blocked shots. The former WPDE All-Hoop Zone selection scored 13 points with six rebounds and four blocked shots before fouling out.

South Carolina's overall record falls to 13-10 and 4-6 in the SEC.
