The 23rd ranked Vanderbilt Commodores ended a two-game losing streak with a 78-60 blowout win over the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday in Nashville, Tennessee. John Jenkins led the Commodores with a game-high 18 points. The Vanderbilt win avenged an earlier overtime loss to the Gamecocks last month.

Ramon Galloway led the Gamecocks with 16 points, Bruce Ellington had 13, Malik Cooke with 12 and Wilson High product Sam Muldrow added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. South Carolina's overall record falls to 13-8 and 4-4 in the SEC. The Gamecocks have now lost three of its last four games. They are now tied with Vandy at the bottom of the Eastern Division.
