Former Coastal Carolina All-American Dustin Johnson shot a final round of 6-under par 66 to finish in a tie for third at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California on Sunday. Johnson was 13-under for the event, three shots in back of the winner Bubba Watson. Watson at 16-under for the four days, beat Phil Mickelson by one stroke.
Johnson earned $336,400 at Torrey Pines. He is now 12th in the Fedex Cup standings. Clemson product Jonathan Byrd is now 3rd in the Fedex. Bill Haas, who was raised in Greer, South Carolina, is 5th in Fedex points after tying for 9th place at the Farmers Insurance Open.
