Former WPDE Miss Hoop Zone Lakeitha Alston of Carolina Forest had a big homecoming. Alston had 15 points and 13 rebounds in Charleston Southern's 60-53 overtime win over Coastal Carolina on Tuesday night at Kimbel Arena. Alston scored the first points of the game and piled up 7 points and 9 rebounds in the first half, but trailed 29-25 at the half. In front of a crowd that included her parents, freinds, relatives and the Carolina Forest girls basketball team, Alston scored the first two points in overtime to help spark the Lady Bucs to a 7 point win and their first Big South win of the season.
