Lateek Townsend picks Clemson as his college football destination.
Marlboro County linebacker Lateek Townsend has made a verbal commitment to play for the Clemson Tigers next season. Townsend is a WPDE All-Zone selection who made his announcement at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday.
The 6' 2" 200 pound Townsend chose the Tigers over South Carolina and LSU. He had 132 tackles inlcuding four sacks his senior season at Marlboro County.
