Three years ago when Scott Earley guided Myrtle Beach to the 5th state title in school history and then left for the Midlands, the Seahawks have continued to play at a high level. That's because under Coach Earley, Mickey Wilson was the architect of a high-powered offense that has seen the likes of quarterbacks JD Melton, Andrew Ellis and now Mitch Campbell and two-time zoneman winner Everett Golson. Wilson is looking for his first championship as a head coach.
Myrtle Beach and South Pointe are similar -- the Seahawks average 47 points a game to 40 for the Stallions. Both defenses are solid -- adding up to some lopsided games. The win streaks for both schools is 12 and counting and their records are identical.

South Pointe has the top rated player in america in JaDeveon Clowney who along with a dominating stallions defense is expected to put heavy pressure on Myrtle Beach quarterback Everett Golson.
The seahawks have plenty of weapons on offense including the area's leading receiver Donte Sumpter. The Myrtle Beach defense has five players with over 100 tackles and Kerry Chestnut leads the Seahawks with 15 and a half sacks.
This will be the first meeting between South Pointe and Myrtle Beach.
