At the Dixie Majors World Series, the Lumberton American (NC) 11-12 year old All-Stars lost 7-5 to Oberlin, Louisiana late Monday night in Gonzales, Louisiana. Lumberton is still alive in the tournament. They will play a losers bracket game tonight at 7pm (EST). Lumberton (2-1) will have to win at least three straight games to have a shot at winning the championship. Earlier in this tournament, Surfside Beach was eliminated after losing two times over the first three days of the event.
