Murrells Inlet has advanced to the final day of the South Carolina state Legion tournament.  Murrells Inlet scored a 6-5 win over West Columbia on Monday afternoon.  West Columbia took a 2-1 lead in the 3rd scoring on a Johnathan Betancourt RBI single scoring Josh Sealey followed by a sacrifice fly.  Murrells Inlet did their damage with a four run sixth inning.  Jake Davis was part of the outburst with an RBi double.

Murrells Inlet will play Sumter or Rock Hill at 11am and need two wins to become the Legion state champs.
