Wilson's Bigelow wins WPDE Sports Scholarship

The 10th annual WPDE Sports Shootout golf tournament raised more than $5,000 for a scholarship fund. This year's winner is Michael Bigelow from Wilson High in Florence.

WPDE has now awarded more than $100,000 in college scholarships to area high school seniors over the past decade. This year's even was held at Prestwick Country Club in Myrtle Beach.
