Francis Marion eliminated Mount Olive with one swing of the bat on day three of the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional baseball tournament in Florence on Saturday. FMU designated-hitter Taylor Norfleet hit a 2-run homer in the sixth inning. The Patriots hung on for a 2-0 victory. FMU will face Georgia College & State University on Sunday in this double elimination tourney. Since Francis Marion is coming out of the loser's bracket, they must win the 1 p.m. game against GCSU and beat them again at 4 p.m. to advance to the NCAA Division II World Series.
