A pair of Carolina Forest Panther baseball players signed national letters of intent on Thursday. Third baseman Travis Parker is out for the season with a torn meniscus, but still got a college opportunity at USC-Sumter.
Panthers catcher Matt Archer is on his way to USC-Aiken. Archer is hitting over .290 and has been a three year starter behind the plate. Both players signed in front of a large contingent of family, teammates and fellow classmates.
