NASCAR ended two days of spoiler testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Wednesday. Teams are preparing to transition from the rear wing to a traditional spoiler this weekend at Martinsville.
With the new deck lid fin, drivers will be able to have flexibility in adjusting rear side force. Most NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers have embraced the change. 42 teams took part in the Charlotte test.
Juan Pablo Montoya and Paul Menard had the fastest test speeds on day one. Jeff Burton and A.J. Allmendinger were fastest on Wednesday. Burton was far and away the fastest at 189.215 mph.
