Coastal Carolina 9 Pittsburgh 6

CCU scored seven runs over the first three innings and never trailed in a 9-6 win over the Pitt Panthers on Saturday. Jose Iglesias hit two homers driving in four runs for the Chanticleers who have won seven straight games. Coastal raises their record to 9-1.

South Carolina 7 Clemson 5

The South Carolina Gamecocks rallied from a four run deficit to hand the Clemson Tigers their first loss of the season 7-5 on Saturday. Jackie Bradley drove in four runs. Three two-out RBI hits from Whit Merrifield, Bradley and Kyle Enders in the ninth inning completed the comeback victory for the 15th ranked Gamecocks. The rubber game is set for 2pm Sunday at Carolina Stadium in Columbia. Clemson is now 8-1 while the Gamecocks improve to 6-3 on the season.
