On Wednesday, 40 high school football players came to the WPDE studios to sign their national letters of intent to play college football. It was also national signing day for other sports.

North Myrtle Beach senior striker Alan Gore signed to play soccer at Wofford College next fall. Gore has 45 goals and 35 assists heading into his senior season with the Chiefs. Gore is excited to be going to a Terrier team that won the Southern Conference and reached the NCAA men's soccer tournament

Lake City's Zach Holt is on his way to play at USC-Sumter in baseball. Holt has a .300 career batting average heading into his senior season and he looks forward to showcasing his talents at the junior college level and work towards his degree.
