ROME (AP) — The Italian anti-doping tribunal has banned two Juventus doctors for 60 days after they were found guilty of doping offenses.

In October 2009, Bartolomeo Goitre and Luca Stefanini were accused of administering cortisone to Juventus player Fabio Cannavaro and originally faced three month bans.

The Italy captain tested positive after the match between Juventus and AS Roma in August 2009, but claimed he had been given cortisone after he had been stung by a bee.

Juventus said on its Web site that it is contemplating an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
