Three Division I transfers are enrolled in classes at Coastal Carolina and give a jump start to CCU's 2010 recruiting class.

Denzel Wedgeworth was a two time WPDE All-Zoner from Hemingway high school who inked with the Idaho Vandals last February, but now is happy to be back home with a chance to make an impact in Coastal Carolina's secondary.

Defensive lineman Johnny Hartsfield was at Hofstra University and saw the school discontinue its football program. The redshirt freshman had 20 offers to transfer and chose CCU.

The Chants offensive line gets a big boost with Clemson transfer Kenneth Page. The 6 foot 5, 300 pounder was highly recruited in high school and is anxious to step in and play right away.

David Bennett will have all three players for CCU's spring practice in March.
