Clinton defeats Myrtle Beach 35-26 for 3A title

(AP) -- COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Taviouzie Booker scored four touchdowns and Clinton defeated defending champion Myrtle Beach 35-26 for the Class AAA championship on Saturday night. Booker, who finished with 150 yards, scored on runs of 2, 4, 1 and 1 yards for the fourth-seeded Red Devils (12-3).  Lavadrick Glen, who had a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, also ran for 100 yards on 11 carries for Clinton.  Everett Golson led the Seahawks (13-2) with 279 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-33 passing. Golson also had a 7-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.  Myrtle Beach managed just 36 yards rushing on 10 plays.
