The 2009 WPDE Zoneman Finalists were announced at the Palmetto Pigskin Touchdown Club. Marlboro County QB Elliott Alford, Lake City running back Shon Carson and Myrtle Beach QB Everett Golson make up this year's podium.
Alford becomes the fifth Marlboro County Bulldog to reach the podium, while Carson is the second Lake City Panther joining current Clemson LB Scotty Cooper. Golson is the reigning WPDE Zoneman winner and looks to become the second ever two time winner joining Syvelle Newton.
The 2009 Zoneman winner will be announced during the 10th annual Chevy End Zone banquet on Thursday, December 10th at Holiday Inn West in Myrtle Beach.
