PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The first few fans have already begun lining the route of the Super Bowl victory parade in Pittsburgh, which doesn't begin until noon.

Police Chief Nate Harper says about 250,000 people are expected to attend.

About two dozen fans had gathered at the intersection of Stanwix Street and Boulevard of the Allies by 7 a.m. near a grandstand erected for the parade.

Barricades are being erected on the streets so crowds won't be restricted to the sidewalks lining the route. Police are hoping that will help accommodate the large crowd expected.

Light snow and temperatures in the high 20s are forecast for the parade to celebrate the Steelers' sixth Super bowl win. Pittsburgh beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 Sunday night.
