Everett Golson threw for 217 yards as Notre Dame (12-0) completed a perfect regular season with a 22-13 win over Southern Cal on Saturday night, before a crowd of 93,607 in Los Angeles, California.

Golson, a former quarterback at Myrtle Beach High, also ran for 47 yards in a game of field position and defense. Notre Dame kicker Kyle Brindza booted five field goals to account for most of the Irish points.

Theo Riddick rushed for 146 yards and scored Notre Dame's only touchdown.

Notre Dame will play in the BCS National Championship in Miami on January 7 against the winner of the SEC Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.
