The North All-Stars scored on the opening drive of the game, to register a 7-3 victory over the South All-Stars in the second annual FCS Senior Scout Bowl, played at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach.

North quarterback Dante Warren from South Dakota threw a 34 yard pass to Stony Brook's Matt Brevi for the only touchdown of the game. The South's only points came on a second quarter field goal by Norfolk State's Ryan Estep.

The South All-Stars were coached by David Bennett who was relieved of his head coaching duties at Coastal Carolina eight days ago. Several of Bennett's former players at CCU played in this showcase event that was attended by NFL scouts.
