The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers men's basketball team defeated the Presbyterian Blue Hose 60-53 at Templeton Center in Clinton, South Carolina on Wednesday night. It was only the second road win of the season for CCU, and ended the Chants five game losing streak away from home.

Coastal had a double-digit lead during the first 20 minutes, but Presbyterian closed on an 11-2 run to cut the Chants lead to 28-26 at the half.

Coastal Carolina outrebounded Presbyterian 45-27. Badou Diagne led Coastal with 11 rebounds. CCU had 19 second chance points to just four for Presbyterian.

Warren Gillis led a trio of Coastal players in double-digit scoring with 14 points. Anthony Raffa chipped in with 13, and Kierre Greenwood had a dozen.

Coastal Carolina head coach Cliff Ellis said,  "We did it with defense. Our rebounding, my gosh, we pounded that glass."

Coastal returns to action on Saturday, February 16 at the HTC Center in Conway against Gardner-Webb. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
