South Carolina Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist died Monday morning after hitting a deer on Hamp Road in Marion County.
It happened around 6:00 a.m., according to Lance Corporal Sonny Collins, with Highway Patrol.
The victim is identified as Jerome Robinson of Mullins.
Robinson was not wearing a helmet, according to Collins.
