In February, a Department of Social Services worker filed a complaint of child neglect with the Myrtle Beach Police Department leading to an arrest of a mother, according to a police report.

A DSS worker told police that a child was in a dangerous situation and had been moved to another residence.

DSS completed a drug screen on the child, which showed traces of opiates, cocaine, and marijuana in it's system, which was given to police.

The report does not release the child's age, but list's it as a juvenile.

Hilary Noles, 24, was arrested Friday for Unlawful Neglect of a Child, in connection to the positive drug screen presented to police.
