Myrtle Beach police are investigating a sexual assault that happened around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers responded to the assault at the motel at 608 North Ocean Blvd.
The victim said she was standing outside her door talking on the phone.
She said the man forced her inside the room with a knife and sexually assaulted her.
