Florence County Sheriff's Office investigating overnight fire

The Florence County Sheriffs Office is investigating the cause of an overnight fire.

West Florence Fire crews responded to Cherry Johnson Road in Effingham around 1:20 Monday morning.

A piece of logging equipment was on fire, according to Captain Fox with the West Florence Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to control the fire quickly and there were no reported injuries.
