After three days of competition at the Beach Ball Classic, a high school basketball tournament with a strong 16-team field, local teams have yet to win a game. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks dropped a 67-61 decision to Franklin (OH) in a consolation bracket game on Friday, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Solomon Cooper scored 27 points to lead the Seahawks. Franklin's Luke Kennard had a game-high 33 points. Myrtle Beach, St. James and Socastee have all lost two games apiece at the 32nd annual Beach Ball Classic. In another consolation game, Orem (UT) defeated Christ Presbyterian (TN) 68-59.
